In its latest round of layoffs, Tesla has cut the team responsible for its Supercharger charging stations.
Elon Musk made the announcement on Tuesday, saying in spite of the 500 layoffs, the company plans to continue expanding its number of charging stations nationwide. However, he admitted more of the company’s focus will be placed on maintaining existing stations.
The news comes after Tesla recently laid off 3,300 employees in California.
