Dimora's been moved to a prison out west

(Undated) -- Former Cuyahoga County Commissioner Jimmy Dimora has a new home. Dimora, who is serving 28 years in federal prison for racketeering and corruption, has been moved from a medium security prison in West Virginia to one in the desert of southern California.

The U.S. Bureau of Prisons won't say why Dimora was moved to California. Dimora’s lawyer tells The Plain Dealer he doesn't know why, either.

One theory comes from Roger Synenberg, lawyer for Dimora’s former political crony, Frank Russo. Synenberg is quoted in the PD as saying, "I think it's just the Bureau of Prisons messing with him."
