(Lake County) - The Gathering of Eagles XVIII Air Show arrives at Lost Nation Airport in Willoughby this Saturday and Sunday.

Spokesman Jay Reynolds says visitors will be treated to a large display of vintage U.S. military aircraft from World War Two and the Korean conflict, along with classic motor vehicles.

Reynolds tells Newsradio WTAM 1100 that visitors will be able to purchase rides on vintage warplanes as well.

Aircraft expected to be at the show include a B-17 bomber, the C-46, C-47, two Stearman biplanes and more.

There will be military displays, re-enactments, and flights from 10am to 5:30pm Saturday, and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.

Representatives from Cleveland's VA Medical Center will be on hand to provide information about veteran's benefits.

Gathering of Eagles is presented by Cleveland's United States Aviation Museum.

A portion of proceeds will support restoration of a classic World War II Boeing B-29 Superfortress.

The Museum is currently in the process of restoring a World War Two area B-29.

Admission is $13 for adults, $7 for children 4-12 years old, and $25 for couples. For more information call 440-759-4148.
