(Euclid) - Work is beginning this month on the new Euclid Industrial Park.
The 80 acre park is on East 260th right off the I-90/Route 2 exit.

This is the former PMX property. Euclid Mayor Bill Cervenik says the site has been vacant for a decade, and last housed Chase Brass.
Cleveland developer Ray Fogg got a $1 million brownfield abatement grant from Cuyahoga County in early 2008 to start work on the property. Then they received a $5 million Jobs Ready Site grant to fully fund the work.
Cervenik says with cleanup starting this month, they could have part of the industrial park ready to go this summer with construction and new infrastructure.
Cervenik believes the project will create at least 1,000 jobs and the property is being sub-divided into 14 plots. Overall jobs will depend on the mix of new businesses.
Along with highway access, Cervenik says the site is unique because it has access to both CSX and Northfolk Southern rail lines.
