Stars had to brave the rain in LA to walk the red carpet Sunday afternoon, but that didn’t stop Hollywood from dressing to the nines for the 67th annual Golden Globe Awards. Sandra Bullock, Meryl Streep, Mo’Nique, Jeff Bridges, Robert Downey Jr. and Christoph Waltz were the big winners of the night, as well as, James Cameron, who won Best Director for Avatar, which also took home the Best Picture Globe.
But it wasn’t just the Golden Globe winners that went home with a prize; celebs who visited the Gift Lounges throughout the weekend were given the royal treatment - and goodies to boot!
Jaime Pressley had her hair styled by Revolution in Cut! Hair guru Ric Pipino at the Beauty 360 lounge. Bridget Moynihan and Ali Larter also stopped by for pampering, and Glee’s Jane Lynch had her make-up done by celebrity make-up artist Vincent Longo.
Speaking of pampering, ladies bonded over their locks when they picked up the Infiniti Cord-Keeper by CONAIR Tourmaline Ceramic Ionic Hair Styler Dryers. Kara DioGuardi, Ellen DeGeneres, and Jane Krakowski picked up dryers in the color of their choosing, from purple to green! Chaske Spencer and Marissa Jaret Winokur, as well as Jennie Garth and AnnaLynne McCord from ‘90210’ enjoyed Hostess cupcakes in celebration of 60 years of the cupcakes signature icing squiggle. They took home a lunchbox filled with the sweet treats.
American Idol’s Kara DioGuardi nabbed a pink Palm Pixi phone, while other stars texted 90999 from the Palm Pixis to donate money toward the relief effort in Haiti.
Thora Burch, Julie Benz and Kate Walsh all grabbed handbags by Guess by Marciano, while Jennie Garth strutted around in a new pair of Guess shoes. Celebrity Trainer Harley Pasternack helped DWTS dancers Cheryl Burkes and Kym Johnson walk away with a new pair of New Balance Fierce Trax sneakers.
And that wasn’t all! Stars also snagged Keurig Coffee systems, the new game Uno Mod, custom Hallmark cards, Jill Reno fine jewelry, Flip video cameras, Badgley Mishka watches, Blessed & Cursed jeans, and signature AMC passesfor free movies! Plus, they were able to contribute to the Lollipop Theater Network and Best Buddies; CVS Pharmacy made a $100K contribution to the charity on behalf of stars who visited the lounge. The Lollipop Theater Network brings the magic of movies currently in theaters to children hospitalized nationwide due to life-threatening illness, and Best Buddies helps enhance the lives of people with intellectual disabilities.
Even the non-winners won big at the Golden Globes. It pays to be a star!
