(Cleveland)
- Two gorillas at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo have been diagnosed with heart disease.

The discovery was made during exams earlier this month. The tests were done as part of a national study on gorilla health.

The exams showed 20-year-old Mokolo has signs of early heart disease. It appears to be more advanced in 23-year-old Bebac.

The gorillas will be treated with the same medicines used to treat high blood pressure in humans - beta blockers and ACE inhibitors.

Veterinarians have been looking at their food, and will likely change the gorilla's meals to a more high-fiber diet.
