Former state senator Jeff Johnson wins a seat on city council
Johnson says, he is humbled that people have given him a second chance.

(Cleveland)- Voters have given former state senator Jeff Johnson a second chance as he won a seat on Cleveland City Council.
Johnson gained 55-percent of the ward 8 votes to defeat councilwoman Shari Cloud.
He was convicted of bribery in 1998 but says, people see he is now a changed man. Johnson pledges to do the best job he can for the community because they have put their trust in him again.
Johnson tells us that there are three issues he would like to focus on as a city councilman. He wants to work on economic development, street crime, and the vacant houses.
