Music teacher indicted
Patrick Janson faces 16 counts of sexual battery.

(Cleveland) - Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Bill Mason announced that Patrick Janson, 42, of North Olmsted, was indicted on 16 counts of sexual battery.
While employed as a music teacher at St. Joseph's Academy, Mason says Janson had sex with a 17-year-old, who was a junior at the high school between 2000 and 2002.
According to the prosecutor's office, the victim was a student in his music class and Janson began seducing the victim online.
He engaged in sex with the victim during the school day. He also invited the victim to his home, then in South Euclid, where he had sex with her.
Janson was arrested at his home in North Olmsted on October 21.
The investigation continues into other possible victims. Janson's arraignment is scheduled for December 3, 2009.
