Saturday, November 21, 2009
(Maple Heights) - Jim Bartek put an end to his Judas Priest "Nostradamus" listening streak on Saturday.

Bartek ended his streak with a listening party at the Maple Grove Tavern in Maple Heights, donning the "Nostradamus" outfit, created by Gary and Alicia Ulmer. Admission was free and open to the public.

The streak will officially end with 524 plays of the CD. Bartek explains that he wasn't even a fan of concept albums but became fascinated with the band's depiction of Nostradamus's life. After listening to the CD each day for straight 524 days, he feels it’s now time to move on.

Bartek never believed his habit would attract so much attention, he has been interviewed by media around the world and celebrated by fans of metal music.
