Browns release Stallworth
Stallworth's suspension ended after the Super Bowl
The Browns have released wide receiver Donte Stallworth just a day after he reinstated back into the league. Stallworth pleaded guilty to DUI manslaughter for driving drunk after he struck and killed a man early March 14, 2009.
Stallworth had just 17 receptions in his one season on the field with the Browns. By releasing Stallworth now the team avoids paying Stallworth a $ 1 million roster bonus that was due on March 20th.
