Ernie Accorsi says, "he has no interest"

The Browns reached the bye-week and surprisingly said, bye-bye to general manager
George Kokinis. Late last nite the Browns would only say, that Kokinis is no longer
actively involved with the organization.
Contrary to numerous reports, former Browns and Giants GM Ernie Accorsi is not
a candidate for the Browns gm position. Accorsi tells WTAM that he is not going
to be a GM anywhere. "At my age I have no interest in being a GM again.
Accorsi currently serves as a consultant to the Commissioner
and has spent time advising 4 different teams at various times.
On speculation that he might consult the Browns and help groom former Browns
quarterback, Bernie Kosar to be the GM,
Accorsi said, "I have not agreed at this time to do anything in Cleveland.
The quote "at this time" sounds like the door is open for him to become an
advisor, but Accorsi makes it very clear he does not want to be a GM again.
