(Cleveland)- An ex-Shaker Heights teacher is going to the jail for having an affair with a student 22 years ago. 59-year old Timothy Mitchell will be locked up for nine months for an inappropriate relationship with a student more than two decades ago. The woman-- who's now a wife and mother-- says he plied her with drugs and alcohol and resents in court he simply called it a mistake She came forward after receiving counseling and talking with another teacher at the school who was outraged. The former student did not want him to go to jail. He's already surrendered his teaching license.
