Police Investigating Carjacking At St. Ignatius

CLEVELAND - Cleveland Police are investigating a carjacking that took place in the parking lot at st. Ignatius High School on Thursday afternoon.

A 17-year-old student had just gotten behind the wheel of his mother's car. As he was preparing to start the car and leave, two men came up to the driver's side door.

One of the suspects, described as a black male in his late teens or early 20's, ordered the student to get out of the car, before the student could comply, the suspect pulled him out, threw him on the ground, and took his iphone.

The suspect stood 6'0" tall, weighed approximately 190 lbs, wore a dark, camouflage hoodie, and dark pants. He and his companion, described a black male with a black or green hoodie, got into the car and drove off.

Surveillance video showed that the suspects entered the parking lot from W. 28th street near Lorain Avenue and left heading south on W. 28th.
