Berea - The Cleveland Browns have trimmed their roster to 53 players, and acquired a defensive lineman from New Orleans in exchange for a 2019 seventh round draft pick.
The team has received Devaroe Lawrence, who is 6'2, 295 pounds and in his first NFL season out of Auburn.
The Browns waived nineteen players, including injured Danny Vitale: B.J. Bello, Caleb Brantley, Devon Cajuste, Matthew Dayes, Christian DiLauro, Spencer Drango, Daniel Ekuale. Zaycoven Henderson, Dontrell Hilliard, Blake Jackson, Mike Jordan,Montrell Meander, Nate Orchard, Tigie Sankoh, Da’Mari Scott, Brady Sheldon, Simeon Thomas, and Justin Vogel
