Chicago-For the first time in his NBA career, Collin Sexton, 19, had an opportunity to hit a buzzer-beater game winner with a drive to the basket. However the layup fell short and the Cavs lose their 5th straight game, this time against the Chicago Bulls 99-98.

After the game, Collin Sexton said next time he will make the shot.

This moment reminded veteran Tristan Thompson of another top rookie in Cavs history.

The Bulls were 64% shooting in the first quarter and led by as many as 16 points. However, the Cavs tied the game at halftime thanks to the efforts of Jordan Clarkson and Kyle Korver off the bench with 10 and 8 points respectively.

Tristan Thompson controlled the game for Cleveland as he scored 22 points and 12 rebounds. In Sexton's 2nd start, he scored 20 points (season high) along with Rodney Hood's 20 points.

However it was Chicago's Zach LaVine (24 pts) and Ryan Arcidiacono (16 pts) who led the Bulls to victory.
