This Little Girl's Parents Have Been Found

(Cleveland) - This little girl was found Sunday morning wandering the streets near the intersection of East 124th Street and Locke Avenue in the Glenville Neighborhood. She's in the custody of Cuyahoga County Children and Family Services, and after a news release and her photo were picked up by media including WTAM, her parents have been found, and they are being questioned by police.

The little girl's name is Destiny, and she's about three years old. She was not wearing appropriate winter clothing. She was checked out at the hospital, and is safe and in the custody of the County, along with a sibling, who was found in the family's house. It'll be up to Cleveland Police to determine if charges will be filed.

County spokeswoman Mary Louise Madigan says the parents and people from Children and Family services will be talking on Monday to determine what happened, and how to prevent it in the future.
