Chief Wahoo Will Also Disappear From Bertman Mustard Bottles

(Cleveland) - Chief Wahoo is not only gone from Cleveland Indians Uniforms, but the iconic logo will also disappear from the label of the most Cleveland of condiments. Starting later this month, labels for Bertman Original Ball Park Mustard will no longer have Chief Wahoo on them.

Bertman Foods says in a press release that they've updated the label, and the company's CEO says the main driver of the update was the retirement of Chief Wahoo by the Indians. The Bertman company hasn't abandoned the Indians, as some labels will still say "Proud Partner of the Cleveland Indians," but with the script Indians logo, rather than the chief.

The company is quick to point out that the unique mustard, which is sold in stores in Greater Cleveland, and is also available at Progressive Field, hasn't changed.
