Child Found Wandering in Cleveland. Police Find the Family.

UPDATE: Cleveland police are investigating after the family was found Sunday. The child remains with the Department of Children and Family Services.

CLEVELAND - Police are asking for the public’s help in locating the parents or guardians of a young boy who was found wandering in the area of West 38th and Clark Avenue.

Cleveland police say passersby brought the child to MetroHealth Medical Center.

The boy, who is approximately 1 year old, was not harmed or injured. He has been released to the Department of Children and Family Services, police said Sunday morning.

"Officers continue to canvass the area where the boy was found,” according to a press release from the Cleveland Police Department.
