Want Some Pricey Liquor? The State's Holding a Bottle Lottery

(Columbus) - The State of Ohio has some very pricey bottles of bourbon, and is willing to sell it. To make it fair to collectors, the Division of Liquor Control will be holding a bottle lottery. Winners will have a chance to buy these bottles at the price set by the State of Ohio.

There will be four lotteries.

Week 1 Lottery: Entries will be accepted beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 28,2020 until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 2, 2020 for these items:

·E.H. Taylor Amaranth, $69.99

·Elmer T. Lee 100th Tribute Edition, $100.00

·E.H. Taylor Jr. 18 Year Marriage, $ 69.99

Week 2 Lottery: Entries will be accepted beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 5, 2020 until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 9, 2020 for these items:

Old Fitzgerald 9 year, $89.98

Old Fitzgerald 15 Year, $149.98

Rockhill Farms, $54.99

Week 3 Lottery: Entries will be accepted beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 12, 2020 until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 16, 2020 for these items:

Mister Sam, $249.98

·King of Kentucky, $249.99

·Old Forester Birthday, $99.99

Week 4 Lottery: Entries will be accepted beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 19, 2020 until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 23, 2020 for these items:

Double Eagle Very Rare, $2,000.00

Old Fashioned Copper (O.F.C.), $2,400.98

Woodford Reserve Baccarat, $2,127.65

You must enter each weekly lottery to be eligible to win a chance to purchase all products.

You can head to OHLQ.com to access the entry page. After submission, you will receive a six-digit ticket number; keep that number handy to help verify if you are a winner. Winners will be notified in November using the email address entered with their submission.
