Eagle Recovering After Being Hit By Vehicle

(Erie County) - A bald eagle is said to be recovering after it was hit by a passing vehicle in Berlin Township of Erie County on Friday,.

The Erie County Sheriff's Office wrote about it on Facebook, saying the eagle was hit by a passing vehicle near State Route 113 and Berlin Road. The eagle was rescued by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Berlin Heights Police, and a sheriff's deputy. They took the eagle to an animal sanctuary, with the hope of releasing the eagle back into the wild.
