Saint Ignatius High School Closed on Monday Due to Online Threat

CLEVELAND - Police are investigating an online threat that caused Saint Ignatius High School to cancel classes on Monday. Not much information is available, but the school released the following statement.

Last evening a threat against Saint Ignatius High School was made on social media. Local law enforcement was contacted, and an investigation is ongoing. Due to an abundance of caution, school officials chose to cancel classes and close the campus for the day. The safety and security of our students, faculty, and staff is of the utmost importance to us.

The school said a threat had been made on Sunday night.
