A gray Range Rover struck pedestrians waiting at a bus stop on Sunday, May 7, in Brownsville, Texas, leaving eight people dead.
According to authorities, up to 10 more individuals are being treated at the hospital for severe and minor injuries.
Authorities reported that a male suspect, who is a resident of Brownsville, is in custody while receiving medical treatment.
The investigators did not address the cause of the accident or whether it was intentional.
