The Guardians lost their series to the Tigers following a 5-0 shutout defeat from Cleveland. Peyton Battenfield got the loss after surrendering five runs, four earned, on seven hits over six innings. Tyler Freeman had two of Cleveland's four hits. The Guardians fell to 17-and-20 and are now third in the AL Central. The team opens a three-game series at home against the Angels tomorrow. Logan Allen gets the start opposite Tyler Anderson.
