The Guardians gave up early runs in an 8-5 defeat in Baltimore. Cal Quantrill got the loss after surrendering all eight runs on eight hits over four-plus innings. Josh Naylor and Josh Bell each drove in a pair of runs for Cleveland, which fell to 24-and-30. The team is still third in the AL Central. The Guardians will try to win the series this afternoon.
