Meet The Press host Chuck Todd made a surprise announcement on Sunday: he's leaving the show.
The 51-year-old Todd said he'll step away in the coming months, with Kristen Welker taking over as full-time host.
Todd has hosted Meet The Press since 2014. It currently ranks third among the Sunday network political shows, behind CBS' Face The Nation and ABC's This Week.
