Alabama Band Director Tased and Arrested at HS Football Game

A band director was tased and arrested after ignoring police requests to have his band stop playing following a high school football game. It happened when both school's bands were still performing and the police were trying to clear out the stadium following the game. The home team's band stopped, but according to reports the band director "instructed his band to continue performing" according to the Birmingham Police.

After attempting to take the director into custody, a physical altercation broke out between both him, school personnel, and BPD officers. After a brief scuffle, a crowd surrounds them and the arresting officer which ends with the director getting tased.
