Browns Defense Strikes "GOLD" Beating 49ers 19-17

Dustin Hopkins booted a pair of late field goals to lift the Browns past the 49ers 19-17 in Cleveland. Hopkins had four field goals on the day including a go-ahead, 29-yard kick with 1:40 remaining. Rookie Jake Moody then missed a 41-yard field goal attempt for the Niners with just nine-seconds remaining to seal the win for Cleveland. Kareem Hunt ran for 47 yards and a touchdown for the Browns, who improved to 3-and-2 on the season. PJ Walker finished 18-of-34 for 192 yards and two interceptions in place of Deshaun Watson. Watson was out for the second straight game due to a shoulder injury. Brock Purdy finished just 12-of-27 for 125 yards, one TD and an interception for San Francisco, which was dealt its first loss of the season and fell to 5-and-1 overall. Christian McCaffrey was held to just 43 yards before leaving with an oblique and rib injury. The Niners also lost wide receiver Deebo Samuel to a shoulder injury. Browns at Colts This coming Sunday.
