(Parma Heights) The Parma Heights Police Department held a press conference on Tuesday to provide an update on the case of a 20-year-old man who is charged with rape and gross sexual imposition involving a 2-year-old child at a licensed in-home daycare center. Detective Eric Taylor said that Conner Walker of Rocky River was arrested last Friday after receiving a tip from the FBI. And at present police are investigating one incident involving one victim although the investigation is ongoing. Walker was a friend of the family that owns the daycare and was staying with them at the time of the suspected assault. Detective Taylor says the daycare owners did not know what had happened and have been cooperating with their investigation. Walker pleaded not guilty to charges of rape and gross sexual imposition during arraignment in Parma Municipal Court on Monday. Walker remains held on a half a million dollars bond.
