Charles Osgood, Longtime Host Of "Sunday Morning," Dies At 91

Longtime CBS news host Charles Osgood has died at the age of 91.

Osgood joined CBS News in 1971 and remains with the network until his retirement in 2017.

He's best known for a 22-year run hosting CBS Sunday Morning, a gig he held from 1994 through 2016.

He was honored with the Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Journalism in 2004.

Osgood died Tuesday at his home in Saddle River, New Jersey.
