A new area code is coming to Northeast Ohio.

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio says the four-four-zero area code is running out of numbers, so the new four-three-six area code will be used starting on March 1st.

The new area code will be used for communities such as Ashtabula, Eastlake, Elyria, Lorain, Parma Heights, Westlake, Willoughby, and more.
