Posted Sunday, March 30th 2014 @ 5pm

The Cavaliers scored more than 80 points against the Pacers for the first time all season and cruised to a surprise 90-76 win on Sunday over the team with the best record in the East.

Indiana never lead by more than 2 points at anytime during the game and trailed by as many as 21. The Cavs won this game with defense holding Indiana to 37% shooting and allowing only 4 fast break points.

The Cavs trailed 18-16 at the 3:15 mark in the 1st quarter and would not trail again. They led 49-36 at half, and 73-58 after three. The closest the Pacers came to the Cavs was 73-61 early in the fourth, but never really challenged the Cavs.

Tristan Thompson was huge on the boards collecting 16 rebounds with 6 coming on the offensive glass. Six Cavaliers scored in double-digits led by Dion Waiters 18 and Jarrett Jack added 11 points and 9 assists. Paul George led the Pacers with 15. Anderson Varejao left the game with a shoulder injury.

The Cavs are off until Wednesday when they will travel to Orlando to take on the Magic.
