(Cincinnati) - Major League Baseball’s All-Star Game is returning to Ohio.

Baseball sources confirmed to the Cincinnati Enquirer that the All-Star Game will be played at Great American Ballpark in 2015,.

According to the Enquirer, Commissioner Bud Selig is scheduled to make the announcement when he is in town Wednesday.

It will be the fifth All-Star game in Cincinnati, the first at Great American Ball Park and the first since 1988.

The Reds had no comment on the matter Monday night.

All-Star week includes the showcase game between National and American League stars, typically on the second Tuesday in July. The Home Run Derby is the night before. Besides FanFest, the week also features a Futures Game featuring minor league prospects, among other events.

Progressive Field (then Jacobs Field) hosted the All-Star Game in 1997.
