(BEREA) -- The injury bug has hit the Cleveland Browns, but it might not keep a few players from finishing the 2012 season in Pittsburgh Sunday against the Steelers.

Wednesday morning in Berea at the Browns training facility head coach Pat Shurmur did not rule out quarterbacks Brandon Weeden and Colt McCoy, or running back Trent Richardson for the season-finale, however all of them were not expected to practice.

McCoy is out with a shoulder injury and because he is Weeden's backup, third string quarterback Thad Lewis will take reps with the first team in practice.

Shurmur said they will wait to see how the week plays out in order to see who will be able to play Sunday in Pittsburgh.

The Browns are looking to sweep the season series with the Steelers for the first time since 1988. On Nov. 25 the Browns forced eight turnovers to beat Pittsburgh 20-14 in their first regular season match up this season.
