(CLEVELAND) -- The Indians are close to officially naming their new skipper.
According to sources with knowledge of the situation the Indians will hire Terry Francona, with an official announcement coming Monday. Sources said the Indians are still working through "details" of the current agreement.
The story was first reported by Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com.
Sandy Alomar, who filled in on an interim basis, also interviewed for the vacant managerial job.
Francona, 53, won two World Series titles with the Boston Red Sox.
