(CLEVELAND) -- Newsradio WTAM 1100 will remain the flagship station for Indians baseball. Clear Channel and the Indians reached a five-year deal to keep Tribe baseball where it has been since 1998 on Tuesday.
The deal was announced Tuesday morning on WTAM's morning show Wills & Snyder in the Morning. Tom Hamilton and Jim Rosenhaus will continue to call the games.
WTAM 1100 will simulcast 144 games on WMMS 100.7 FM.
"The Cleveland Indians are proud and excited to continue our 15-year partnership with Clear Channel Media and Entertainment," said Indians President Mark Shapiro in a prepared statement. "We are fortunate that this parnership continues our consistent broadcast on WTAM, while expanding our radio presence to a new FM audience through WMMS."
Pitchers and catchers report to spring training in Goodyear, Arizona on Sunday, Feb. 10.
