(Cleveland) - A new member of the Cleveland Indians, along with three legends of the team’s past, highlight the team’s 2013 promotional schedule released today.

Tribe fans can snag a replica of free-agent signee NICK SWISHER’S No. 33 jersey on Aug. 24 as the Indians take on American League Central rival Minnesota Twins.

Swisher’s new teammates and Tribe veterans JASON KIPNIS (June 15 vs. Washington) presented by KeyBank and MICHAEL BRANTLEY (July 27 vs. Texas) presented by Sugardale also will be featured in replica jersey giveaways.

Fans wanting to relive the Indians’ mid- to late-1990s success will find plenty of interest in the team’s 2013 promotions: Slugger ALBERT BELLE, who hit 242 home runs in seven-plus seasons with the club, presented by Medical Mutual, and shortstop OMAR VIZQUEL, presented by KeyBank, will be featured in bobblehead giveaways on June 1 (vs. Tampa Bay) and July 8 (vs. Detroit), respectively.

The jerseys and bobbleheads lead another big promotional schedule, which starts with a magnet schedule giveaway presented by Progressive Insurance to all fans on Opening Day, April 8.

The Indians’ annual Hall of Fame weekend is set for June 22, and in another nod to the team’s storied tradition, Progressive Insurance will present a replica of the Indians Hall of Fame plaque of ROCKY COLAVITO, one of the team’s most popular former players and owner of 190 homers in an Indian uniform, on Aug. 10.

The Indians on Aug. 24 also will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the first game to which JOHN ADAMS, the drummer who encourages a Tribe victory from the left-field bleachers during each game, brought his legendary bass drum.
