(GLENDALE, Ariz.) -- Indians second baseman Jason Kipnis left Saturday's Cactus League game in the first inning and was replaced by infielder Jose Lopez.
The Indians have not offered an explanation for his departure yet.
The Tribe is playing the Los Angeles Dodgers at Camelback Ranch Stadium. In the top of the first inning Kipnis had a base hit. In the bottom half of that same inning Lopez came out to play second base.
