If you've been scrolling through my blog pages, you've seen my story about how in early 2011, I was diagnosed with an Acoustic Neuroma, a benign tumor in the inner ear area near the brain.  I have been writing about how it was surgically removed, and how my facial nerves had to be reconnected.

I am a member of the Acoustic Neuroma Association, devoted to helping people deal with their ANs.  A few months ago, I was asked by ANA director Judy Vitucci to write about my experiences.

It was just published in the September 2012 edition of ANA Notes.  You can read it by going to the link below (you'll find my story on page 7).  Let me know what you think, or if you have any questions.
