DWTS champion and Olympic gold medalist Kristi Yamaguchi came to Cleveland today. She is the new spokesperson for "Faces of Influenza" encouraging everyone to get a flu shot.
After the press conference I had a chance to interview her about influenza, Dancing With The Stars (one of my favorite shows), and her latest projects.
She thinks Brandy or Jennifer Gray will be the winner of this season's DWTS. Kristi says if Gray can control her nerves and if her body can keep up with the grueling practices/routines she will take home the trophy. I am also pulling for Gray to be the winner this season.
Also both of us really like Disney star Kyle Massey. He has such a big personality and is a great dancer. I think he's been getting ripped off with the judge's scores. He has really improved and deserves higher scores.
Kristi is very down to earth, happy to sign autographs and meet with fans. She is even smaller in person then I imagined. In this picture she doesn't look much shorter then me but she was wearing boots with 4 inch heels.
