There are plenty of things to do to get you in the spirit of the holiday season. Little Italy hosts their Holiday Art Walk this weekend. Downtown Willoughby hosts “Miracle on Erie Street” in conjunction with their lighting ceremony this weekend. Bring the kids to see real reindeer, play games and do crafts. And bring the adults for the pub crawl. Tomorrow, the shops of Rocky River will sparkle for the holidays with ice sculptures, horse-drawn sleigh rides, a visit from Santa Claus and The Grinch – all while you can check out the specials in the stores. Light Up Lakewood kicks of tomorrow at 4. Downtown Lakewood will transform into an old fashioned main street celebrating the season. Kids can even have lunch with Santa at Dewey’s Pizza or Brunch with Buddy the Elf at Jammy Buggars. The city of Parma’s Christmas Parade is tomorrow at 3:30. The route will start at City Hall and end at Stearns Farm. Holiday Circlefest takes place in University Circle Sunday. The annual event rings in the Holiday season by bringing together more than a dozen museum, gardens, galleries and other organizations for one free day of music, shopping and fun. Find classic treasures at Flower Child on Clifton. This retro vintage shop has everything from funky furniture, art and housewares to clothes and jewelry. Right next door is Big Fun with great stocking stuffers and toys of the past. Take your four legged friend to the Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter in Valley View to get their photo taken with Santa Paws. Kevin McGinty has been an active member of the Cleveland Irish Community since 1960. Kevin was born in Castlebar County Mayo on October 30, 1939. He attended St. Pat’s National School and Vocational School in County Mayo. He emigrated to the United States in 1960. He served for 8 years in the Ohio National Guard. He was employed at Meisner Inc.
