There’s plenty to do to make dad feel special on Father’s Day.  How about an awesome brunch at the 100th Bomb Group Restaurant with a special outdoor grill station or lunch on the Goodtime III?  Treat dad to something sweet at the Kirtland Kiwanis annual Strawberry Festival or pick up some chocolate covered grapes at Malleys.  Take dad to Pine Tree Barn in Wooster for a mid-day meal and an afternoon of fishing.   Sunday Dad’s get half off admission at the zoo.  There will also be a variety of heavy equipment used to maintain the zoo on display…tractors, wheel loader, track hoe.  Bring your aluminum cans to the zoo to be a part of their big can crushing demonstration. Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens hosts their Father’s Day Car Show Sunday from 9 – 4.   What guy doesn’t love America’s favorite fix-all tape???  The Avon Heritage Duct Tape Festival returns to Avon all weekend – with local talent in the beer tent and a performance from Baby’s vocalist John Waite on the main stage tonight.  Lingerie
Football returns to the Q tonight as the Cleveland Crush battles Omaha.  Some shows worth mentioning include Fleetwood Mac at the Q tomorrow and Queensryche will perform Operation Mindcrime in its entirety Sunday at the House of Blues.  And finally, there’s nothing better than sharing the experience of a ballgame with dad.   Tonight is Coats for Kids night at the Lake County Captains game.  and the Tribe takes on the Nationals with  dollar dogs and post game fireworks, the first 10,000 fans score a Jason Kipnis jersey tomorrow and Sunday is another kids funday.
